City Tour in Cusco (6 hours)

For the Cusco Combined Tour or also called City Tour in Cusco we have 2 service options.

Private service only for your group, can be integrated by your family Friends, Companions, Partners and others. The tour starts at the time your group prefers, but before 1:30pm because the tour has a duration of 6 hours.
Option 2.- Shared service between 20 people, the tour starts at 1:30pm.

We will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time to start the tour around the city and its surroundings.

First, we will visit the Cathedral where we will observe the exquisite religious decoration (paintings from the Cusco School, carpentry and silverware). Then, we will go to Qoricancha. It is an ancient temple and pre-Hispanic palace where the Incas worshipped their main deities, A Wiraqocha (God supreme), Sun, Moon and all constellations. Also to the Apus (Mountains) and Pachamama (fertile place).

Then, we will head outside the city to visit the next 4 amazing archaeological complexes.

In this tour we pick up passengers up from hotels from 7:50 to 8:30 a.m. Then, we go to the Sacred Valley (1 ½ hours travel time) to visit the most important places in the Valley, start with the traditional markets and archaeological site of Pisac, where you can appreciate the impressive terraces of the Inca period and the Andean people. Continuing the journey through the Sacred Valley, we stop for the buffet lunch (tourist restaurant in Urubamba). After lunch we head to enjoy Ollantaytambo fortress (30 min trip) and observe agricultural areas; the most striking is the cultivation of corn without irrigation, also growing Andean tubers and grains. After the visit to the archaeological site we head to the town of Chincheros on the road to Cusco, where we visit the colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the portico built on the foundations of an Inca building. Duration: 10 hours and 30 minutes. Distance: 75 kilometers round trip (takes 3 hours, 10 min. OW to Taquile, By Classic Motor Boat = 11 km/hour)

This excursion begins at 6:30am with transfer from your Puno hotel to the port. Then by motor boat (35 feet long with a covered section in case of rain or cold weather, 25 individual seats) we visit the Uros floating Islands. Stepping on them feels very much like a water bed (but it is quite safe). We see the houses, the islands and meet its friendly inhabitants.Uros people are descendents of one of the oldest South American groups. Rides on traditional reed boats can be arranged. In the mornings these islands can be crowded. We visit two of the 60 islands before continuing on to Taquile Island.

After a relaxed navigation of extra 2 1/2 hours when we get the chance to enjoy the spectacular views offered by Lake Titicaca, we get to Taquile island. There a unique community can be observed. A long path gradually ascending will take us to the village, the views are unique and worth’s. (45 min. hike approx) to visit the communal cooperative where you will find handy craft textiles of high quality. Lunch at one of the many local restaurants. The views are magnificent. Then we descent 500 steps down to the main port of the island. at 2:30pm approx. depart back to Puno City (3 hour return journey). At 5.30pm Arrival to Puno . on arrival at Puno we transfer you to your Puno hotel.
