This trip combines a great alternative to the major Archaeological Sites of Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu.

Duration of the trek: 2 day hike, 3rd day of hot springs and travel. 6-7 hours of walking per day.

Full Itinerary
Day 1.- We leave Cusco in the morning, we began by visiting the Urubamba market, then to continue by car to the Community Pumaqchupan (2.945 m) starting point of our hike, ride climbing the Quebrada of Pumawanqa, Paqchaq through the Canyon.
From the starting point of this ravine, collecting one of the beautiful landscapes that fail to understand all the amazing geological formation Paqchaq.
A little further displays the archaeological remains of Inkaraqay and further back Paqchaq community, place for eating our food, after lunch the tour continues to the Canyon of Paqchaq, vision becomes majestic in the presence of the grand canyon that spans the creek and is covered from end to end in a queuñas unique forest, overnight at a place called Sut’uq.
Sut’uq / Kunkani / Lares
Distance: 18.5Km / 11 miles
Walking: 8 hrs.
Day 2. – A few meters after the start walking, can be perceived third waterfall, go through the waterfalls and turquoise glacial lakes to reach the pass called Kunkani (4.640 m), being the highest point, surrounded other high peaks of the Vilcanota mountain range, down by geographic diversity, creating invaluable scenic beauty, lunch near the community of Kunkani. Continuing the afternoon walk to the thermal baths of Lares.

Day 3.- On this day the way we returned to the Sacred Valley with a gentle descent to the province of Calca. Continue to the village of Ollantaytambo and after visiting, will take the train to Aguas Calientes, overnight stay in a comfortable hostel.

Day 4.- Early Day we went to the Archaeological Park of Machu Picchu for a guided tour of more than 2 hours and then free time to explore before heading to Cusco in the afternoon.

- Transfer from the Hotel in Cusco to the start of the trek and the end of it to Cusco or Ollantaytambo
- Professional English speaking guide.

- Food from lunch on day 1 to lunch on day 3 in camp.
